I think I need a little break from making those monsters.

I've made another purple+white grief eater

and the next one is already "on the hook".

The request was for a monster / grief eater

with a design featuring Disney Pixar Cars

"Lightning McQueen":

To make it even more special

it has been personalised with

the name of the new owner:

Leon... a very happy boy now.

I've spent much time lately crocheting these little monsters.

The grief eaters proof to be very popular

and challenging design ideas keep coming in.

Watch out for the next one to appear on this blog soon!

The current hot weather made me crochet this new bag for my beach towel.

And later it can be used as shopping bag.

This little fellow had a head and a body for quite some time.

But I only managed today to attach his eyes and ears.

Now he's ready to move into his new home

where his brother is already waiting for him

(if he's not travelling at the moment).

Going away means trying out new things

and finding lots of inspiration.

Not to mention all those great craft magazines !!!
