Inspired by all the little gnomes sitting around in shops

I crocheted my own cute gnome family.

Christmas Treat

It looks like I'm getting ready for the festive season

but in fact I made this Christmas Treat last year :-)

Easter Egg Cosy + Cup

I made some egg cosies with

cute bunny ears for Easter.

The egg cups in matching colours

are made of curtain rings!

And adding little flowers

to some of the bunny ears

gave it all the extra touch.

Seasonal Decoration

 I've crocheted a gnome

and a tiny gnome house.

The trees below are made out of buttons,

simply threaded together.

Little Angels

I had a request for angels

similar to my creations back in 2013 

(see here and here).

I made six in total

and didn't keep any for myself.

I shall start earlier this year

and hopefully have time to make some more.

(Didn't I say that already last year?)

or as extra attachment on a special present.

Wise Owl

Cross stitching is a kind of therapy.

Relaxing & Calming 

(unless the thread is tangled)

and

Rewarding 

(when you see the picture appear).

I adapted the original pattern

with my own colour choices.

I'm very happy with the result

and so was the new owner.

Old Favourite Pattern

I have two old patterns that were published in a TV magazine over more than two decades ago.

The timeless (or shall I say re-occurring) simple design made me treassure the original page of the magazine and having back up copies in all kind of formats thanks to our digitale age.

You can imagine that I've used the mill and the farmer's wife pattern in various of my projects.

<--- Here on the left you can see one of the pot holders.

Since there is a natural limitation on how many pot holders one can use at a time I took the same pattern for a cross stitch mounted in a picture frame.

It makes a nice matching accessory for the kitchen wall.

Aprons

Young designers decorated colourful aprons

and were very proud of their end results.
