 A new whale came off my crochet hook
similar to the first one.

I started this some time ago but only finished it now:

a cute little whale as cover for a hot water bottle.

Another bird has hatched,

this time the wings have been shaped differently.

Tablet Sleeve "Pom Pom"

Some time ago I had bought Pom Pom yarn

but wasn't keen on turning this into the usual scarf or rug.

Instead I made a little bag

that is now serving as sleeve for a tablet PC.

The yarn is perfect for this purpose

as the Pom Poms are doubled up

when knitted.

The edge is crocheted and 

a small golden shell is used as button.

Another Bird

And another bird came to life:

A new bird hatched out

ready to carry headphones

and other small items.

ZigZag Blanket

In March I mentioned that I was busy making a baby blanket. 

Luckily I choose the right colours

as it turned out to be a gorgeous little girl :-)

My new Wild Moths labels arrived just in time

to get attached to the new blanket.

And it was the first time I crocheted a zigzag design.

Mission accomplished. Phew.

Doll & Blanket

I just like the colours of this blanket

and thought the doll would go well with it.

A true treassure for a little baby girl.

Birdy Pouch

Another bird has hatched

in a brown and orange composition.

It has already flown off

to its new nest.

Poncho

Using the granny square pattern I made this poncho.

And quite a few more.

They have proven to be a convenient and popular garment.

Baby Blanket

Here is another baby blanket I made for a little baby boy.

Laptop Cover

Sometimes there is a need for practical things. 

Like a fancy protection for your laptop

(or any other digital gadget).

I use at least 5 yarns to make the bags steady enough.

Taking different colours of yarn produces interesting shades.
