 Using my favourite sock pattern

I created a new design for a hat.

It is crochet from the top down

so I could make sure to get the correct size.

First summer hat of this kind that I made.

Luckily I wrote down the pattern 

so that I can reproduce it :-)

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Birthday present for a little girl 

who turned one today !

Fairy Dust

I found some beads in a shop

that seemed to be shouting at me:

"Make a necklace!" 

So I did and the result looks to me like

Fairy Dust :-)

A Girl's Dress

I couldn't resist this colourful yarn

though at first I didn't know what I would crochet with it.

After a few unravelled attempts it turned into a dress:

This is the second dress I made, the other one is here.

And most important, the new owner is very happy :-)

Sister Doll

This little doll has now got a sister

wearing a little skirt.:

With no buttons or any other attachments

the doll is suitable for very small children

to play with. 

Pink Baby Bear

 I made another pink bear

for a little baby girl.

Pink Bear

The little baby-girl turned 5 months

and I made her a pink bear as a special gift:

She was very interested and examined the new fellow.

Baby Shoes

I obviously need to make some new baby shoes.

Off to the needles...

ZigZag Blanket

In March I mentioned that I was busy making a baby blanket. 

Luckily I choose the right colours

as it turned out to be a gorgeous little girl :-)

My new Wild Moths labels arrived just in time

to get attached to the new blanket.

And it was the first time I crocheted a zigzag design.

Mission accomplished. Phew.

Tiny Outfit

It's not easy to find the right clothes for a premature baby in the shops.

(Especially when you don't have much time to browse around.)

Instead I quickly crocheted this little jacket

with a matching hat (both 100% cotton).

It's a Girl !

Today I witnessed the birth of a baby girl.

So special. So wonderful.

So beautiful.
