Eco-Friendly Yellow Net Bags

Here is a set of 2 handmade crochet net bags I recently made. 

One is a bag to take to the market for shopping or to the beach.

The smaller is a storage bag for vegetables or other items.

 

 

The good thing about these bags is that they are eco-friendly, reusable and washable.

Bag in Pastel

Made out of left over yarn 

in pastel colours - 

a nice way to use up all those

scraps of wool.

Holiday Bag

To get into the mode for a nice holiday

I made this bag in a sea side design

with blue/turquoise/white waves.

Chirp Chirp

Another bird has hatched,

this time the wings have been shaped differently.

Tablet Sleeve "Pom Pom"

Some time ago I had bought Pom Pom yarn

but wasn't keen on turning this into the usual scarf or rug.

Instead I made a little bag

that is now serving as sleeve for a tablet PC.

The yarn is perfect for this purpose

as the Pom Poms are doubled up

when knitted.

The edge is crocheted and 

a small golden shell is used as button.

A New Apple Purse

Another apple purse sprung off my crochet hook.

This time with lining!

White Purse

This handy purse is crocheted in "spider stitch" 

and has a zipper.

And a cute bird charm has been added.

I was in need of a new purse, too,

so I've made me an apple purse as well: 

Very handy to keep the small change in!

Getting the zipper in between the two layers

was easier than expected:

The design has already gone into a few creations like this and that.

Some left-over yarn was used to make a flower:

Birdy Pouch

This bag was ordered for a little girl to carry her lunch to school.
