Beach Bag

The current hot weather made me crochet this new bag for my beach towel.

And later it can be used as shopping bag.

Bearnecessity

This little fellow had a head and a body for quite some time.

But I only managed today to attach his eyes and ears.

Now he's ready to move into his new home

where his brother is already waiting for him

(if he's not travelling at the moment).

Inspiration abroad

Going away means trying out new things

and finding lots of inspiration.

Not to mention all those great craft magazines !!!

Pink Swarovski

Pink-shaded Swarovski crystals 

combined with white glass beads (rocailles)

make this crochet necklace a nice

accessoire for summer outfits. 

Old Favourite Pattern

I have two old patterns that were published in a TV magazine over more than two decades ago.

The timeless (or shall I say re-occurring) simple design made me treassure the original page of the magazine and having back up copies in all kind of formats thanks to our digitale age.

You can imagine that I've used the mill and the farmer's wife pattern in various of my projects.

Since there is a natural limitation on how many pot holders one can use at a time I took the same pattern for a cross stitch mounted in a picture frame.

It makes a nice matching accessory for the kitchen wall.

Sparkly Dots

I made this necklace in a bit of a hurry.

(Just finished in time!)

It is crocheted using small metallic-coloured Rocailles (glass seed beads)

with a few silver beads as sparkly dots.

Similar glass bead necklaces are available in the shop.

Max = 4

Max turned 4.

And what is a better birthday present 

than a bag full of chocolate ???
