Purple Shawl

It took a while to finish this shawl
as I had only bought one ball of purple yarn
in a far-far-away shop while on holidays.

Since 100g of yarn was not enough for making a decent sized triangle
and after noticing this too late
I ordered additional yarn online and got sent the wrong colour (arghh).
After returning it and finally getting the correct yarn
I managed to dive back into the pattern
and finish the shawl rather quickly.

I normally don't use patterns
but this one was fun to follow
and I'm pleased with the result.

Purple Scarf

I wanted to try out a new pattern
and before indulging in a larger project
and made this purple scarf as a trial.

Once you get the hang of it
it is quite simple :-)

Old Favourite Pattern

I have two old patterns that were published in a TV magazine over more than two decades ago.

The timeless (or shall I say re-occurring) simple design made me treassure the original page of the magazine and having back up copies in all kind of formats thanks to our digitale age.

You can imagine that I've used the mill and the farmer's wife pattern in various of my projects.

<--- Here on the left you can see one of the pot holders.

Since there is a natural limitation on how many pot holders one can use at a time I took the same pattern for a cross stitch mounted in a picture frame.

It makes a nice matching accessory for the kitchen wall.
